20 swimmers qualified for the open water championship final of the Martyr Al-Ghamari Cup in Hodeidah

20 swimmers qualified for the final of the elite open water club championship for the Martyr Muhammad Al-Ghamari Cup, organized by the General Swimming and Aquatic Sports Federation of Hodeidah Governorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and financing the Youth and Youth Protection Fund.

The two-day championship competitions began, with the participation of 40 swimmers representing the governorates of Amanat Al-Asimah, Sanaa, Al-Hudaydah, Amran, Dhamar, Taiz and Hajjah.

The first qualifications, in the presence of the director of the Governorate’s Youth and Sports Office, Imad Al-Borai, and the Secretary General of the Swimming Federation, Mabrouk Al-Sabri, resulted in the qualification of the following swimmers:

Abdullah Barakat – Capital Municipality
Muhammad Saleh Al-Humayqani – Capital Municipality
Abdullah Shumaila – Amanat Al-Asimah
Hamza al-Khathali – Dhamar
Hamza Muhammad Mayas – Capital Municipality
Salah Al-Jaumari – Dhamar
Ibrahim Nabil Al-Qirbi – Sanaa
Younis Ibrahim Al-Akwa – Imran
Youssef Ibrahim Al-Akwa – Imran
Hisham Ibrahim Sharaf – Imran
Abdul Rahman Al Qurashi – Imran
Mohammed Mahmoud – Sanaa
Ayman Al-Yaguri – Sanaa
Younis Saeed – Taiz
Mustafa Hamza Al-Najjar – Hodeidah
Bassam Abdullah Al-Hashibri – Hodeida
Adnan Ali Al-Habib – Hodeidah
Osama Ali Al-Sharafi – Hajjah

The tournament competitions are managed by the referees: Muhammad Al-Ansi, Abdul Rahman Al-Hatami, Mansour Loza, Shafiq Ali Ghaleb, Abdul Wahab Al-Sabri and Fawaz Muhammad Abdullah, while the tournament debates are supervised by Muhammad Al-Ansi from the Ministry of Youth and Walid Humaidan from the Youth and Youth Protection Fund.

The tournament program included a demonstration segment presented by child Hamza Al-Warqi, during which he demonstrated exceptional swimming skills, while the Hodeidah Governorate Coast Guard recorded a positive presence during the tournament.
